Gas Thief

Someone siphoned gas from my van. My friend told me that she wouldn't even notice if someone stole gas and that she is not usually aware of how much gas is in the tank. I am usually the same. However, on Sunday I was out doing errands so I checked the gas gauge knowing that I was going to be driving to Bayfield the next day. I had more than half a tank.

On Monday morning I remembered that I should put some air in one of the tires so when I got to the gas station I checked the gas gauge again and hmmmm, the gas gauge said 1/4 full. I just assumed that I must have made an error when I checked the gauge the day before. But when I went to put the nozzle in the hole, the gas cap was not on properly.

I just can't believe people sometimes. I really can't.
