Ty, a dear friend of mine, decided to go back to school last year to become a teacher. What a great decision - she is going to be a phenomenal, inspirational, loving teacher. This amazing woman owns her own business, has a husband and two young children, regularly exercises, scrapbooks, and on top of all that, commutes every week to Buffalo where she is working on her teaching degree. Normally, she leaves very early Wednesday morning to drive to Buffalo, goes to school for the day and for part of the next day, and then arrives back in K-W Thursday evening just in time to tuck in her little ones. Last week and this week she will have been in Buffalo for two weeks straight. This is the home stretch for this part of her teacher training and then she will be starting her practicum next week. I heard through the grapevine that Ty has been having a rough go while in Buffalo.
Ty, (I know you read my blog when you should be studying or listening to your profs), I just want you to know how proud we all are of you! You can do this. Only 4 more days left to go in Buffalo and then you can come back home to your sweet babes and your husband. I know it has been tiring, you have been working your ass off and it has been hard being away from your family and friends. But this chapter of your life is almost over. We believe in you. We are thinking of you! Just plug away for 4 more days and then come home!
