Is it just me, or does Lauchlan climb things WAY more than his sisters did when they were the same age? Is it because he is a boy, or have I already forgotten what the girls were doing at the same age? I certainly don't remember my girls climbing this much. Whatever the case may be, Lauchlan can climb onto every single piece of furniture in our living room. The IKEA chair, the retro/funky chair, the couch, the toy box, the bench, the desk chair and the dining room chairs. The dining room chairs are the worst ones because then he goes from those right on top of the table. Before, I could be working on dinner or actually sitting for a minute and not worry about him too much. Not any more. I am tired of chasing him around. No, I am exhausted! But, I am also thrilled that he can do so much more. He sure keeps me on my toes! I followed Lauchlan around today and got some evidence of his escapades! See below:

Now he is trying to reach the cord for the blinds. That's safe!

Hmmm. Here is the thing that mommy is always using!

Here is how Lauchy gets up on the toy box.

Ah, now I can see Tassie.

Now he is on the retro chair.

So proud!

I wonder if the pencil crayons are still up here? Nope.
