Bubbling Wizard's Brew I

You Will Need:
  • a clean glass jar/cup
  • clear vinegar
  • food dye (optional)
  • glitter (optional)
  • dish soap
  • baking soda
Half-fill glass with vinegar. Add several drops of food dye,
then sprinkle glitter over top of the vinegar. Add a good squeeze of dish
soap to the glass. Gently stir the mixture with a spoon.

Put glass in the middle of a large baking tray. Add a
heaped teaspoon of baking soda to the glass and see what happens.

I love that one of Lauchy's eyes is half-closed.

Foaming Brew:
The foam that pours out of the jar is formed by a simple chemical reaction. When the vinegar and baking soda mix, they make lots of tiny bubbles of gas. The bubbles churn up the dish soap, making lots of foam.
