Whoa! My brother Allan just posted a beautiful tribute to our mom on his work blog. Even if you never knew my mom, you might be choked up. The mascara was flowing down my face after I read his post! Sheesh!
I'm glad I'm not wearing any makeup at all right now because I just read your brother's post and I can't stop crying. How touching and wonderful. To answer your question, (in case you didn't read my follow-up comment yet) I was 29 and my mom was 49 when she died of breast cancer, and I know exactly what you mean about missing her even more now that you're a mom. It sounds like your mom was truly amazing and loved you all beyond words. What a trooper! Okay, gotta go get some tissue. Thanks for sharing this.

BTW...your "apples" are absolutely adorable and I'm sure your mama would be so proud of you!
