Fairy Land

If you ever need a fun, easy and creative activity for kids while camping (or at the beach or for the summer, etc.) just look for trees with interesting trunks and ask the kids to build houses for fairies at the base of the trunks.

Perhaps make a few suggestions of what to do, but in general, leave the creating up to the imagination of the kids and you will be amazed at what they come up with!


















After the houses are complete, check back periodically to see if any fairies moved in. Addie is convinced that a fairy was in one of the houses that she made.

The kids (okay - and the grown-ups) were utterly in love with this project and worked away at the fairy houses for a long time.

We can't wait to make some houses in our back yard.
