The idea is from 1000 Things to Make and Do. There are a ton of great ideas in this book!

As usual, I think I enjoyed this activity more than the kids (see snake and turtle above). I finally had to stop so that I could tend to other things like lunch and laundry! But I would love to do this activity again!

ReplyDeletei hear you on getting right into the arts and crafts with the kids: i am like that with my nieces -> example: gingerbread house decorating, any time we work on a sticker book, even plain colouring is too fun!! good thing we have the children around as excuses to indulge our creative sides! :)
