Once the sweaters have been felted, cut up the fabric into squares. I did all of this by hand as I don't have a rotary cutter! A rotary cutter would have made the job much faster!

Use a needle to put the squares on embroidery floss.
Tie the embroidery floss together.
The mag recommends using 60 squares.
Add ribbons.

ReplyDeletefelting is an option with knitting, too...like you knit a handbag and felt it, or a hat, for example. i have never tried felting - it intimidates me! love the look, though, and good for you for trying it!!
