Technically, the ice is still intact and there have only been a few casualties so far, but with the mild and rainy weather today and again tomorrow, I'm sure it won't last for too much longer before it starts to break apart.
The best thing about making this sculpture is seeing motorists stop their cars to take a look and seeing pedestrians pulling out their phones to snap photos! I wonder what people will do with their photos? It is fun watching everyone take a second look!

ReplyDeleteI totally love it, and you inspired the girls and I to cover our back patio with various cups and beakers of coloured water too!
Sadly the containers freeze overnight, and then rapidly melt during the day, so no ice sculpture for us this year I suspect.
