Celebration Time!

Our house is officially rented!  The tenant came over tonight to sign the lease and give us the deposit!  What a HUGE relief to have this major item crossed off our list!  It is wonderful that we got to meet the family.  I assumed that whoever rented our place would be doing so from afar and that we wouldn't meet them before we left.  It is also a nice that this family has met the lovely, Tassie!  I know she will be in good hands with these people.  However, I am not sure how their hands will hold up!  Tassie, NO swiping!

In other sabbatical news, the kids and I received our passports today, as well!  I wish I had had the camera out when Lauchlan opened up his.  His face was pure delight!  I am not even sure he knows exactly what the passport is for, but he was very pleased to see his photo on the inside.  I had to put them away quickly before Lauchy tried to colour in it!  Wouldn't that be fun?

The next big thing on our list is to find a place for us in Bristol.  I composed an e-mail describing our family and what we are looking for.  Now I just need to e-mail it to the two contacts that we have in Bristol.  We are hoping that word-of-mouth might be the way that we can find a place to rent.
